HOW LONG IS THE HIRE?

We offer a 4 Hour Hire, 6 Hour Hire, 24 Hour Hire and 48 Hour Hire, if you require a longer hire period then please contact us on (04) 298 9868 or email bookings@kapiticastles.co.nz to arrange a quote.


DO YOU DELIVERY THE ITEMS I HIRE?

We can delivery every item we have listed on our website, but we do offer various items where you can collect it from us, set it up yourself and return it to us for a discounted rate – please see our hire options to see what items are available for this.


DO YOU STAY AND SUPERVISE THE ITEMS?

Usually we won’t provide staff for your booking, but if you would like to have one of our trained and professional staff members supervise the items then please contact us on (04) 298 9868 or email bookings@kapiticastles.co.nz to arrange a quote.


IVE BOOKED THE BOUNCY CASTLE, WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO DO?

Once your booking has been made and confirmed you can just relax and wait for the day. In your conformation email, there may be some specific requirements that you need to organise for us but if not, then just ensure that we are able to access the area and that the area is clear.


WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

If it is going to be raining (or it is raining) on the day of your hire then you can either reschedule your booking for another date or cancel the booking at no charge – please see the cancellation policy in our Terms and Condition for more information or please contact us on (04) 298 9868 or email bookings@kapiticastles.co.nz. We do have a range of hire options that are suitable for indoor use and some items are safe to use during light rain, but we don’t charge a cancellation fee if you choose to cancel on the day of your booking due to the weather.


CAN THE BOUNCY CASTLES BE USED IF ITS WINDY?

This will be determined on the day of your booking, we follow strict regulations for operating bouncy castles in the wind. If the wind speed (and/or gusts) are more than 36kph we are unable to set up. We will have to cancel your booking because safety comes first within Kapiti Castles.


DO I PAY A DEPOSIT?

If your booking is within the Kapiti Coast and doesn’t require and additional staff time we don’t charge a deposit. If your booking is outside of the Kapiti Coast and requires specific staff time then we do require a 20% deposit to confirm your booking.


CAN THE ITEMS IVE BOOKED GO INSIDE?

Most of the items we offer can go inside, but more specifically our Toddler Bouncy Castle, Red Bouncy Castle and Brown Bouncy Castle are designed to fit inside a garage (and other similar areas in the house).

HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?

The preferred method is by completing the online form on our CONTACT US page, alternatively you can send an email to bookings@kapiticastles.co.nz, send a text message to (022) 099 0843 or call (022) 099 0843 or (04) 298 9868.


HOW MUCH NOTICE DO I NEED TO GIVE FOR A BOOKING?

You can book anytime 7:00am & 7:00pm, 7 days a week. Bookings can get very busy so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You can contact us on the day as we may have availability or cancellations.


HOW MUCH DO YOUR INFLATABLES COST?

Please view our HIRE OPTIONS page on our website, all items vary in price but are clearly displayed on our website. Multiple discounts are available if you are booking 2 or more items.


WHAT DO THE PRICES INCLUDE?

All the prices (unless stated otherwise) include FREE delivery, set up, pack down and collection within the Kapiti Coast. Outside of this area delivery fees may apply so please contact us. You will also receive the castle, the blower, extension cable, groundsheet and other important equipment


WHEN ARE THE INFLATABLES AVALIABLE?

Our inflatables are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, including bank holidays.


HOW CAN I PAY?

You can make payment with cash, eftpos, credit or debit card on delivery or via a cheque, bank/account transfers, PayPal and arranged payment plans.


WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?

You can cancel at any time, all we ask is that you give us as much notice as possible. Upon booking with us, you will receive a copy of our terms and conditions.


HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SET UP/INFLATE/DEFLATE/PACK UP THE INFLATABLE?

The average bouncy castles take 15 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to pack up, however this may vary depending on what castle you hire.


CAN I EXPECT YOU TO ARRIVE ON TIME?

We arrange a schedule at the beginning of each day with your requested delivery time. There may be unforeseen circumstances or delays that we can’t plan for. We will keep in contact with you on the day to update you as how far away we are. If for any reason, we can’t deliver your castle to you, we will arrange another staff to deliver your castle where possible. In an emergency, we have back-up drivers and spare equipment to ensure that we can deliver to you.


CAN YOU SET UP ON CONCRETE/DRIVEWAYS/GRAVEL/DECKING?

We can set up on those surfaces in most instances but we must be advised of this at the time of booking to ensure that we bring the correct anchorage - we offer a free site inspection service within the Kapiti Coast.


WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO BEFORE YOU ARRIVE?

Please make sure all pets/animals are away safely, garden toys, swings, slides, patio furniture, rubbish, etc., are removed from the area where the inflatable is to be placed. At busy times, we may not be able to wait for the areas to be cleared as we will have other deliveries.


HOW MANY CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED ON YOUR BOUNCY CASTLES AT ONCE?

This depends on the size of the castle and the age of children using the Bouncy Castle. Recommended number and height of users are advised on our arrival depending on which castle you hire


IS YOUR EQUIPMENT SAFE?

Yes! We have a strict safety policy that protects both us and you, but it also allows for a maximum FUN yet safe party and therefore relieves your stress. All our electrical equipment is safety tested.


ACCESS TO OUR GARDEN IS DIFFICULT, CAN YOU GO UP STEPS OR OVER FENCES?

This depends on how many steps there are and the size of the garden. For the smaller items, a few steps are not normally a problem but we may require help from you please inform us when you book.


DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

Kapiti Castles Limited has full public liability insurance and all our staff are trained in the operation of all our equipment and have current CRB checks.
